World of Reel reports that Taylor Russell has joined Brady Corbet’s “The Origin of the World,” alongside Cate Blanchett, Michael Fassbender, Selena Gomez, Lily McInerny and Joe Alwyn. It says the film is shooting in Portugal under the working title “Salt Flats,” and Russell’s role is being kept under wraps. Corbet has described the project as being about American mysticism and the history of the occult in America, according to the outlet.
