Crystal Harris asks Jessica Biel to reconsider playing a fictional version of Hugh Hefner’s wife in ‘Playmates’

Variety reports that Crystal Harris, who was married to Hugh Hefner until his death in 2017, asked Jessica Biel on Instagram to reconsider her role in the upcoming film “Playmates” if it intends to romanticize Hefner or the Playboy world. Harris said she experienced sexual, emotional, financial and physical abuse in their marriage and urged those involved in the film to listen to women who lived through it.
