Sixth Dimension is adapting horror game 'The Headliners' into a movie

Dread Central, citing Variety, reports that StudioCanal’s Sixth Dimension is adapting 'The Headliners' as a feature film. The game puts up to eight players in the roles of journalists photographing an alien-infested New York while avoiding the invaders. Sixth Dimension head Jed Benedict pitches the movie as 'Cloverfield' meets 'Ghostbusters' via 'Nightcrawler,' with the mayhem seen through the journalists’ cameras. Dread Central says it has no plot details for the film.
