Elizabeth Holmes disputes 2023 New York Times ‘character’ quote; reporter stands by it

Variety reports that in the documentary “You Can See Everything,” Holmes disputes a 2023 New York Times quote about actors portraying her: “They’re not playing me. They’re playing a character I created.” Holmes says she said “they created” instead. Chozick told the Times she wrote down the quote during a walk, without recording audio, and later discarded her notebook. The Times says its editors confirmed the quote with her in 2023.
