LISA's solo ambitions beyond her BLACKPINK rap role
In a shared excerpt of her Reuters interview, LISA says her year away from BLACKPINK was less about finding her voice than trying something new and challenging herself.
TLDR
A shared excerpt of LISA's Reuters interview in Toronto, following a film's world premiere, quotes her reflecting on a year-long break from BLACKPINK. Asked about finding her own voice, she emphasized experimentation instead. “My position was a rapper,” she said of her group role, adding that she had always wanted to sing but hadn't really had the chance to do that on her own.
