Sosie Bacon set to join Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in MGM+’s ‘The Black Tapes’

MGM+’s eight-episode adaptation of the horror podcast ‘The Black Tapes’ is set to pair Sosie Bacon with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Variety reports. Bacon plays a physicist who joins Coster-Waldau’s psychiatrist to investigate paranormal cases. Podcast creators Terry Miles and Paul Bae will write and executive-produce the series; Deadline says production is scheduled to begin in Vancouver in January 2027.
