Laika’s ‘Wildwood’ sends a teenager into a wilderness of talking animals
The Hollywood Reporter says the film’s sprawling stop-motion production is surpassed by its genuine feeling and family bonds.
TLDR
The Hollywood Reporter calls Laika’s 132-minute ‘Wildwood’ a technical and emotional triumph. Based on Colin Meloy’s novel, the stop-motion fantasy follows Prue into a mysterious wilderness after crows abduct her baby brother.
