A New York judge dismissed Morgan Carey's defamation suit over Mariah Carey's memoir, finding he had not sufficiently pleaded actual malice, TheWrap reports. Morgan alleged the book portrayed him as violent and accused him of trafficking cocaine, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The dismissal does not establish those allegations as true. His lawyer Richard Altman told Rolling Stone he intends to appeal, TheWrap reports.
