Sony reportedly requires PS5 Pro buyers in Japan to show at least 60 hours of PlayStation playtime

Dexerto reports that Sony is requiring customers in Japan to prove they’ve played PlayStation for at least 60 hours to buy a PS5 Pro. Applications for the latest batch opened September 28, and a lottery will decide who can buy one if applications exceed stock. Dexerto says some fans think the system is intended to combat scalpers.
