‘Nomadland’ reportedly cast real nomads as versions of themselves

All The Right Movies says Chloé Zhao cast real modern-day nomads to play versions of themselves alongside Frances McDormand in ‘Nomadland.’ It says McDormand lived in a van during the shoot and worked the same seasonal jobs to fit into their world.
