Street Fighter franchise reportedly faced a crisis during the Street Fighter V era

IGN reports that Street Fighter 6 producer Shuhei Matsumoto described the franchise as being in dire shape during the Street Fighter V era. He explained how he and director Takayuki Nakayama worked together to keep the series from “dying.”
