65-year-old grandmother wins third world powerlifting title

Martine Barons, a 65-year-old grandmother and academic, has won her third world powerlifting title less than three years after starting the sport, People reports. In a BBC interview cited by People, Barons said powerlifting had left her body “at least 20 years younger.”
