Paul Bettany recounts bursting about 10 blood vessels in his eye while filming ‘VisionQuest’

While filming “VisionQuest,” Paul Bettany recalled pretending a device on his head was affecting his brain and “wildly overacting” until he burst about 10 blood vessels in his eye. He called it “a lesson in less is more.” He recounted that his eye stayed that way for two weeks and production had to remove the visible effect from the final shots. The eight-episode “WandaVision” spinoff debuted on Disney+ on Oct. 14.
