‘Coach’ reboot reportedly in the works at NBC, with Ty Burrell attached to executive produce

A single-camera reboot of ‘Coach’ is in development at NBC, Deadline reports, with Ty Burrell attached to executive produce. Variety says the project is being eyed as a starring vehicle for him if it goes to series, but his role has not been decided. Written by Daniel and Matthew Libman, the proposed story shifts the original comedy’s football focus to Minnesota basketball.
