On “Last Week Tonight,” John Oliver argued the Republican Party has grown too comfortable with people he considers “Nazi-adjacent” ahead of the Nov. 3 midterms, Variety reports. His examples included Tucker Carlson’s interview with Nick Fuentes, leaked chats among Young Republican group leaders and Florida House candidate Marshall Rawson, whom Variety says marched with neo-Nazis in Charlottesville. Variety says JD Vance responded to questions about the chats with “Kids do stupid things.”
