Kendrick Lamar has made history by surpassing Jay-Z's record to hold the title for the most Grammy wins by a rapper with 27 wins. At the 2026 Grammy Awards, Lamar swept every rap category, including Record of the Year for 'Luther' and Best Rap Album for 'GNX'. With 66 nominations and 27 wins, Lamar is now the fifth most awarded artist in Grammy history, trailing behind Beyoncé, Quincy Jones, Sir Georg Solti, and Chick Corea.
