Amanda Seyfried still stands by turning down Gamora in 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

Deadline reports Seyfried said in a SAG-AFTRA Foundation Q&A that she thought a space movie with a talking tree and raccoon wouldn't be a hit, and feared a bad film could hurt her career. She also said she made the decision for herself and the family she wanted, and didn't want to spend so much time in makeup. She acknowledged she was wrong about the movie but said she wouldn't take back her decision. Zoe Saldaña ultimately played Gamora.
