New Alien film with reported Prometheus ties moves forward with writer Aaron Guzikowski

In its Oct. 23 report, The Hollywood Reporter named Aaron Guzikowski as the writer tapped for a new Alien film for 20th Century Studios and Ridley Scott. Scott and Michael Pruss were producing through Scott Free, and no director was attached. The film is not an Alien: Romulus sequel. THR says its reported ties to Prometheus and Alien: Covenant involve Michael Fassbender's android, but Fassbender was not attached at that stage.
