The Penguin's Lauren LeFranc reportedly in talks to produce Poison Ivy TV series

Lauren LeFranc, showrunner of The Penguin, is in talks to produce a Warner Bros. and DC Comics Poison Ivy series, Deadline reports. She would produce rather than write it; as of Deadline's Oct. 21, 2026, report, no writers were attached and no lead had been cast. Deadline's sources say the series would sit outside Matt Reeves' Batman universe, and HBO is its destination only if it gets picked up.
