Cosmic Book News reported that entertainment scooper Daniel Richtman wrote on Patreon Friday that Sony’s Screen Gems is developing a film adaptation of Mouthwashing. The report did not name a writer, director or release timeline.
Developed by Wrong Organ and published by Critical Reflex, Mouthwashing arrived on Steam in September 2024, according to the same report. The first-person horror game follows the five-person crew of the Tulpar after its captain deliberately crashes the corporate freighter into an asteroid, leaving the crew stranded as food, power and patience run low. It uses PS1-style graphics.
