Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil: praise for scares and humor, criticism of creature choices

Reactions to Zach Cregger’s Resident Evil include enthusiasm for its scares and comedy, alongside a complaint about its creature choices. Another praises the pacing, story and game references but calls the choice of a new virus and creatures, rather than existing game monsters, a missed opportunity.
