Taika Waititi’s ‘Star Wars’ movie is on hold

Variety reports that Waititi told Inverse his ‘Star Wars’ movie has been put “on ice” while he works on a different project. The film has been in development since 2020. Waititi said he has about four other movies he’s trying to do, but didn’t rule out returning to it: “Ice ages do come to an end… Who knows?”
