Carrie Ann Inaba asks 'DWTS' for a new lift rule next season

Variety reports Inaba has asked for a discussion with dancers and judges about the lift rule and wants a new one next season. Her comments come amid criticism of how she enforces the rule. BBC Studios said Val Chmerkovskiy would miss a show after it called his social media post about Inaba inappropriate; he later apologized.
