Less than 1% of SAG-AFTRA members have qualified for a streaming bonus so far

Deadline reports that, according to SAG-AFTRA, roughly $1.5 million is set to go to about 700 performers for work on high-budget streaming projects released in 2024. That is about 0.4% of the union’s 160,000-plus members. TheWrap reports that union president Sean Astin acknowledged members’ struggles to find work, pay dues and qualify for health coverage.
