‘A Court of Thorns and Roses’ Book 6 breaks Maas’ release-day record with 1.7 million copies sold

The sixth book, “A Court of Splintered Harmony,” set a release-day sales record for Sarah J. Maas, Variety reports. Publisher Bloomsbury’s 1.7 million tally includes preorders and October 27 sales of English-language print and ebooks in the U.S., Canada, U.K. and Australia; it excludes audiobooks and translations. Variety says that’s up 600% from the release-day sales of 2021’s Book 5, “A Court of Silver Flames.”
