Angier's vanishing bird cage trick reportedly drew on Harry Blackstone's act

ATRightMovies says Nolan drew on real life for Angier's vanishing bird cage trick, which it identifies as Harry Blackstone's trademark act. Blackstone's son later carried on the trick. The account also says magician Chung Ling Soo was William Ellsworth Robinson, who disguised himself as a Chinese man and died when a bullet-catch trick went wrong.
