Disney names 2026 directing cohorts, adds ‘Tracker’ and ‘Scrubs’ to scripted roster

Deadline reports Disney Entertainment Television has selected its 2026 directing cohorts and introduced a two-year format for the scripted program. Participants will spend the first year on development, shadowing and mentorship, then direct an episode in the second. ‘High Potential,’ ‘The Rookie: North,’ ‘Scrubs,’ ‘Shifting Gears’ and ‘Tracker’ are joining the scripted roster; ‘9-1-1,’ ‘The Rookie’ and ‘Will Trent’ are also participating.
