Deadline@DEADLINERon Perlman shares that he'll be portraying Ernest Hemingway in an upcoming biographical film set in Cuba: "Hemingway had a profound influence on the last century as an artist. And yet all of that was eclipsed by the man and how colorful and interesting he was. He caused a lot of debate and discussion, and he was polarizing. That’s what began to fascinate me. That and the fact that during his last years he was at the vortex of the fall of Batista, the rise of Castro, and the wrath of J. Edgar Hoover."
