Noriyoshi Ohrai’s 1978 ‘Star Wars’ artwork reportedly led to an ‘Empire Strikes Back’ poster commission

A post says Noriyoshi Ohrai created a ‘Star Wars’ fold-out for a Japanese sci-fi magazine in 1978. George Lucas saw it in 1980 and commissioned Ohrai to create international poster artwork for ‘The Empire Strikes Back,’ according to the post.
