“The End of Oak Street,” the dinosaur film starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, is set to begin streaming on HBO Max on Nov. 13, 2026. Mya Copeland reported the streaming date for Variety on Nov. 6, following the film’s Aug. 14 theatrical release through Warner Bros. Pictures.
Greg Evans at Deadline describes the launch as a global streaming debut exclusive to HBO Max. An HBO television premiere is scheduled for the following day, Nov. 14, at 8 p.m. ET. That time applies to the television airing, not the streaming debut.
Hathaway and McGregor play Denise and Greg Platt, parents whose family is transported into a prehistoric landscape, according to Variety. Deadline describes the larger predicament: A cosmic event sends an entire 1980s neighborhood back to the age of dinosaurs. Maisy Stella and Christian Convery also star.
A synopsis quoted by Deadline describes the Platts navigating their now-unrecognizable surroundings, with their survival depending on staying together.
David Robert Mitchell wrote and directed the film. Deadline lists him among its producers alongside J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, Matt Jackson and Tommy Harper.
