Which movie songs outshine the films they came from?
The poster points to Pharrell Williams’s “Happy,” which they say was written for a scene in “Despicable Me 2.”
TLDR
A post asks for songs that became more famous than the movies they came from. Its author offers Pharrell Williams’s “Happy” as an example, saying it was written for a “Despicable Me 2” scene where Gru embraces happiness. They also claim nine earlier versions were rejected before the tenth became a hit.
