AO3's October 29 maintenance outage could take up to four weeks to resolve

Nerdist reported that fanfiction archive AO3 was down for maintenance on October 29. It quoted AO3 Status estimating service restoration in around two weeks, possibly up to four, and hoping to bring the site back in a degraded state sooner. Nerdist said some fanfics could still be accessed through the Wayback Machine if they had been archived there.
