J.K. Rowling’s agent criticizes trans rights protest at London ‘Cursed Child’ gala

Variety reports transgender rights activists lay on the red carpet as celebrities arrived for a shortened version of ‘Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’ in London. Security guards removed them. Rowling’s agent Neil Blair said he respects peaceful activism but argued that the protest put audience members, performers and theater staff at risk.
