CJ ENM and MBC Group have signed a long-term partnership to expand Korean entertainment across the Middle East and North Africa, Variety reports.
The centerpiece is a dedicated Tving area inside MBC Shahid, bringing together programming from CJ ENM, Tving and other South Korean studios. The companies are also extending the relationship beyond streaming with exclusive linear exposure on MBC4.
More than 13 new titles are scheduled for release during 2026, supported by more than 20 shows from CJ ENM's existing library. The initial lineup includes My Bias My Boss, The Legend of Kitchen Soldier, Filing for Love and Our Universe, with the catalog expected to expand over the course of the multi-year deal.
New titles are planned for simulcast on the MBC Shahid app, while selected programs will include Arabic dubbing and subtitles. Announced at Mipcom in Cannes, the pact turns an existing content-supply relationship into a broader, multi-platform distribution strategy.
