Matthew Perry Netflix doc reportedly centers sister Mia and uses archival ‘Friends’ cast footage

Mary Robertson told Gold Derby she and Mia Perry Bowick agreed to trace Mia’s memories of her brother, Matthew Perry, from her first to her last. Gold Derby describes Mia as the documentary’s central voice and reports that the three-part Netflix series was set to premiere Oct. 27, 2026. Robertson said Perry’s ‘Friends’ castmates declined invitations to participate; Gold Derby reports that archival footage appears instead of new cast interviews.
