Deadline reports Hande Erçel will star as Merve in Nader Saeivar’s Berlin-set drama ‘Diaspora,’ slated to shoot in early 2027. The story follows a Turkish widow who is harassed by a German family’s teenage son, then faces slander when she speaks out. Moritz Bleibtreu will play the boy’s father, and the film is planned in German, English and Turkish.
