This final version of Atlas is designed for industrial tasks, offering capabilities such as autonomous operation, teleoperation, and tablet steering. With a reach of up to 7.5 feet, the ability to lift 110 pounds, and durability in extreme temperatures, Atlas is set to revolutionize industrial work. Hyundai and Google DeepMind will be the first to deploy Atlas, with Hyundai planning to use it in car plants starting in 2028 and Google DeepMind integrating its AI models into the robot's system.
