QUESTION: How will digg's communities be different from reddit's subreddits?

Yeah. So right now we are only able to create, and share content; and comment on user created or shared content, and user comments. And this on a limited number of communities.

I understand more communities are to come, and messaging options are to come also. But how will the communities be different from reddit’s subreddits?

How will the communities be created, moderated, and promoted?
