What am I supposed to do when a legitimate, on-topic post is instantly removed by Digg?

I tried making my first post, a link to my local city (Somerville)'s call for residents' input on the city's budget priorities, in /somerville. It's been instantly removed by Digg, with no explanation, no appeal link that I can see.

The Digg about page says "Moderation is handled by real, human community managers in the open". 😑 This feels much more like an auto-mod that's just nuking any first-time link post. Any actual humans around that can help?
