'Check for updates' does this button work?

I noticed whenever I tap this button I don’t get any sort of feedback, which makes me unsure wether it’s working or just there as a placeholder button.

Least it could do is show a pop-up like „you’re already running the latest version“ or „no update available“.

Searching Digg in the AppStore for updates seems to be the safer option because of this.
