The New Digg: Identity via Lingo

The new digg looks very much like reddit. I cannot help but call the respective communities on the Platform subreddits. And when I think of the features, formats, and operations the Platform is, and could be I cannot help but think about it in “reddit terms”.

That said, what are the community sections to be called? Trenches? Each community is a trench where axe & shovel welding wackos bury, and digg up things relevant to their respective Trenches?

Also, does anyone have any idea on what features will come to digg, and what they’d be called? Will individuals be able to create their own Trenches? Will there be a Trench leader that keeps all the axe & shovel wielding wackos in line?

Will there be messaging? Will there be group chats? What will they be called? How do i find gems, and digg them up? No. seriously. what on earth are these “gems”?
