Filter content by subject

I really think thatit it's necessary to be able to filter content that is shown in my feed. I can't mentally handle the repetitive Trump news as it has taken over reddit. It's not that i don't want to be informed, it's just that same story will be posted over and over again cross all the subs and any way i try to minimize it just doesn't work. I truly believe it's necessary to be able to block or filter by subject. I can't even open reddit anymore coz' i start feeling really negatively and my mental health is literally taking a hit. Been reg on reddit for for a long time, a part of my everyday routine, uninstalled it without looking back, it is toxic.

Digg should now, in early days put filters in place. Even close the registrations in open beta periodically so they don't lose the control over the important development details due to big influx of users.

Please, please Digg. Don't rush, do this rather slower but right from the start. Be considerate of your users coz they are burned by internet and social media, the tolerance is low now and people will leave, we've learned our lessons by seeing reddit downward spiral.
