How can Digg prevent from going downhill just like Reddit has?
When I first discovered Reddit about 15 years ago, it was such a wonderful place. It was like a fully personalized newspaper that refreshed itself often with interesting topics, all curated to your likes if you want it to be. Although it has always had it's share of toxicity, I loved the community and really enjoyed reading and learning about all kinds of different things. Over time, enshittification happens and it just turned into a cesspool.
I'm really looking forward to Digg and hoping it's able to recreate the magic once again. But I fear that with time, it will end up the same. Maybe it's inevitable, but let's brainstorm... How can we keep Digg a vibrant place?
