Increase image alt text character limit please

I posted this earlier today: https://beta.digg.com/funny/zOI2HNc I had to put the alt text of this image in the post body because there is such a small character limit on image alt text. A lot of times, alt text needs more characters than even a normal post if you want to properly describe the image for someone who can’t see it. Mastodon does alt text well, idk what the limit is but I’ve never hit it.
