Trending in community broken?

I’ve been trying to keep my niche community for alive until the masses arrive but there hasn’t been much news to post as they are on break. I posted a couple times two weeks ago (one post had 1 digg, the other 2) and I submitted a new post this morning which has 3 diggs.

The new post, again the first in a couple weeks and the one with the most diggs) appears at the bottom of the community on trending below the two old posts with less diggs which seems to be the result of a broken trending sort.
