Content feels lackluster, can we cheat a little??

I know in the early days of Reddit, Alexis made sock puppet accounts to seed content so the site looked and felt fresh and active. A lot of the current content on digg is pretty bland. Would it be out of line or unethical to create some bot accounts that just rip the latest posts from corresponding subreddits and repost them here? At least until digg gets popular enough to start naturally getting those posts?
