Why can’t we use Digg from the web on iOS?

Just out of curiosity, why isn’t this possible? It would be much more convenient. For example, with version 1.7.1 the app is almost unusable: I can’t see my latest posts on my profile, it’s not possible to share a web page, and there are various other issues. At least if Digg were accessible from a browser on iOS, it could be used in a decent way during the beta phase. Thank you devs for your time =)
