What MrMouton is doing is elder abuse.
I can't say this on the subreddit without getting mobbed by pro-Mout activists, so I am here on the Digg to vent.
Dan, once a powerful and virile figure, is now an elderly and extremely frail senior citizen. His days of demolishing Reddit moderators are long over and he had settled into a well-earned, quiet retirement.
However, that was not to last. Sensing an opportunity to exploit a confused and gullible old man, MrMouton seized control of Dan's old podcast, "Anything Else?", and dragged him back into the limelight. There, in unregulated Kick streams, MrMouton proceeded to extract every ounce of content left in Dan's addled mind.
On stream, MrMouton regularly:
Makes fun of Dan's cognitive difficulties (like saying words correctly)
Confuses Dan with technobabble that Dan clearly doesn't understand
Frightens Dan with strange noises
Makes Dan talk to AI chat bots (Dan thinks these are real people and that he is actually friends with them)
Interrupts whenever Dan is telling an actually good story because he doesn't want people to respect Dan
Plays videogames that are too complicated for Dan and outright refuses to let him participate or be involved in any way
MrMouton is clearly just using Dan for his platform and routinely makes him the butt of jokes for the amusement of his twisted audience. Given Dan's advanced age and obvious infirmities, I feel that this amounts to elder abuse.
To make things right MrMouton must:
Start the stream later so Dan isn't left out so much
Let Dan use old hardware/software that he is familiar with, like TeamSpeak, Windows 95 and 240p webcams
Praise Dan when he goes a whole sentence without misspeaking
Play simple, gentle games like Rust so that Dan can be included
Let Dan tell at least one story per stream - even if it's one we've heard hundreds of times before or makes no sense
