Composer 1.5, an improved agentic coding model, strikes a balance between speed and intelligence for daily use. Built by scaling reinforcement learning 20x further, it shows significant improvements on challenging coding tasks. The model generates thinking tokens to reason about code and plans next steps, while maintaining speed on easy problems. Composer 1.5 also has the ability to self-summarize, allowing it to continue exploring for a solution even when it runs out of available context.
