Constant Issues with Kraken

I won't go into the amazing spreads they have, how you're not buying BTC at the going rate but probably paying 5% more - users can see that for themselves.

What's blowing me away right now is their incredibly bad math.

I've invested $3,000 and change. $2,500 in stocks. Recently there was a stock split, of which they are showing me at 100% loss for these shares. Two months later, it's still wrong, so I want to move my funds.

I sold the $2500 in stock yesterday. This apparently put an account-wide hold of $4500 on ALL my assets. They are saying because I sold stocks, I can't withdraw my BTC, ETH, etc - wild. I have no pending deposits, just cash coming to me.

I've never had a balance there of $4500 in total - it's absolutely criminal they lock down your funds because of the choices you make. It's not your money.

[Mind you, tried to reach out to support - I had to wait an hour and they immediately closed my ticket upon escalation - it's AI or nothing over there and they have your money].

I used Coinbase for years, moved $100k through them. Got a phishing email that I initially clicked on and they closed my account forever. Have a Gemini account - are they better?

This is a seemingly small complaint, I have to wait to get my funds - but why? There is no reason to delay the closing of an account like this. Let the stock trades settle before releasing the cash - but give me the BTC, etc.
